Introduction:
One of the advantages to using AdLabs is not having to perform meticulous keyword research in search term reports to find the best targets to pull from your auto and research campaigns.
AdLabs Keyword Harvesting feature lets you quickly pull search terms from one campaign to another. This is often termed “harvesting” or “graduation.”
To get started, you will first need to make sure you have set up your Keyword Harvesting Map. If you have not done so, follow the steps in this help document to set up before proceeding to the next steps.
Harvest Keywords in the Search Terms Tab:
After you’ve finished defining your campaign mapping, it’s time to put it to work. To harvest keywords, you will start by navigating to the Search Terms tab of the sidebar menu.
Setting Your Harvesting Criteria
In AdLabs, you will use the filters and date range selection tool to narrow and set your desired criteria before running the harvesting tool.
First, you need to set the date range. This will determine what data period you are using to source keywords from. We recommend a 30-60 lookback window as a good starting point or general rule.
If you are looking to have more strict harvesting criteria or use a shorter date range, you can adapt the date range to your needs.
After you have determined what your date range is, you will need to narrow your searches using the filters available to you in the Search Terms table.

Publishing Your Harvested Targets
Finally, after you have set your criteria, review and select all or select only the search terms you want to harvest, and click “Harvest” on the action menu.
You can then set your target ACOS or let AdLabs use the Target ACOS of the Optimization Group that your Destination Campaign is in.
If your destination campaign is not in an optimization group, the target ACOS used in calculating your starting bid (if using the AdLabs starting bid method) will be whatever you have in the dialog box for “Target ACOS for New Targets.”
This step also provides you with a quick look at anything you have selected that is not currently set up in your campaign mapping. You have the opportunity to quickly resolve the settings from this window before proceeding.
Once you are ready to continue, select “Preview Harvested Targets.”
Inside the Preview, you can review the targets set to be harvested and their associated settings.
From this window you can manually modify bids, or make on the spot modifications to your source campaign negation settings.
When you are satisfied with the settings, you will select the targets to be harvested, click “I confirm changes” in the Action menu, then “Add Targets” and you are done.
You should see the targets start appearing in your campaigns within a few minutes.
